We don't replace your booking system. We build your site on top of it, through its API, so guests book with you directly.
Our own fee is not in this sum. We go through it on the call.
Every rate was checked on 26 October 2026. Where a platform publishes its rate, the receipt says official. Where it does not, the receipt says typical, and the number is what operators report. Check your own contract.
The comparison assumes the same bookings came direct. In real life some guests only find you on a platform, so read it as a ceiling, not a promise.
Dollar fees are converted at 0.92 euro to the dollar and pounds at 1.15 euro to the pound. Both are approximate.
Viator does not publish its commission. Operators report 20% to 30%, with about 25% typical, and it varies by location. Viator also charges a one-off USD 29 per experience to list. It pays you after the travel date, weekly through PayPal or monthly through your bank.
Neither publishes a single rate, and operators report 20% to 30% for both. GetYourGuide takes a percentage of the retail price, set per supplier account and per country, and tells you after sign-up. New suppliers are reported to start near 30%. GetYourGuide has no listing cost, and Viator charges USD 29 per experience. Ask both for your rate in writing.
Airbnb typically keeps 20% of the price you set for an Experience, and takes it from your payout. Guests pay no other service fee at this time, so they see one total price. Airbnb Services, which are not Experiences, are typically 15% with a USD 6 minimum.
It depends on your country. In the United States it is 3.7% + USD 1.79 per paid ticket, plus 2.9% card processing. In the United Kingdom it is 6.95% + GBP 0.59 per ticket, with card processing included. In Belgium it is 3% + EUR 0.49 per ticket, and in Spain 6%. Free events have no fee. Buyers pay the fee by default, and you can choose to absorb it.
Booking.com does not publish one rate. It depends on the country, the property type and your contract. Operators report about 15% as standard and higher for its Preferred programmes. Booking.com invoices the commission monthly.
