The booking hides inside an iframe.
In Momence’s own words, bookings made through its plugins “are hidden behind something called an iframe, this prevents event tracking.”1
For Momence studios
Keep Momence running classes, memberships and your back office. We design your class pages and schedule on your own site. Guests pay on your own page, and we record the paid booking in Momence through its API, so they do not leave your site or need a Momence login.
You see your new homepage before you pay for anything.
The usual trouble
In Momence’s own words, bookings made through its plugins “are hidden behind something called an iframe, this prevents event tracking.”1
Momence’s fix is a thank-you page on your site. It works for classes, appointments, subscriptions and packages, but “will not occur with purchases of products or on-demand content.” For appointments, “Currently IDs are not sent.”1
Momence says you need to “preserve the user session between your site and Momence.” Without cross-domain settings, “GA4 will treat the checkout as a new session and purchases may not appear.”2,3
The teardown
Momence’s own help pages explain why. Steps 1 to 3 happen with every plugin booking, and step 3 is the one that hides it. Steps 4 and 5 only happen in some cases, and each one is marked with when.

We design your class pages and schedule as part of your own site, on your own domain. The guest picks a class and pays on your page. Your site then records the paid booking in Momence through its API, as a sale paid with a payment method you create in Momence for it.[[hostPay,customPay]] Momence keeps running classes, memberships and your back office.

Since 10 September 2026, Eagle’s Nest guests book and pay for classes on Eagle’s Nest’s own page, through the Momence API. Before, they booked in the Momence plugin.
For a schedule on a page, they can be. Momence says you can embed class schedules, booking forms and more with plug-and-play code snippets.9 The catch is what you can measure: Momence says the iframe the booking sits in prevents event tracking.1 Its thank-you page fix covers classes, appointments, subscriptions and packages, but not products or on-demand content.1
Momence’s plugins are code snippets you paste into your site builder, for example a custom HTML block in WordPress or an iframe element in Wix.4 Our sites are not built that way: they are not WordPress sites and have no plugins. We design the pages ourselves and connect them to your Momence through its API.
Yes, with our own payment page instead of the Momence plugin. The guest picks a class and pays on your page, with a card through your own Stripe account. Your site then writes the paid booking into Momence through its API, using a payment method you create in Momence for this.6,7 The guest needs no Momence login: the business API works with one of your studio logins, and its permissions come from that user.10 The Momence plugin is the other route, and its checkout runs in an iframe.4 The condition is Momence’s approval of the integration, which we confirm before we start.8
Momence’s API docs show no approval step, but its API terms say integrations are approved by Momence.8 Its terms also say the API may not be used to act as a payment intermediary, so you stay the merchant and the card is charged in your own Stripe account.8 We check the approval with you before we start. You create the API client yourself in your Momence dashboard, under Apps and Integrations and then Developer API.11 We found no published limits for it, and Momence keeps the right to set rate limits.8 We check that for your account on the call.
Yes. Your classes, memberships, clients and payments stay in Momence. We build the website guests see and use.
There are three payments: a part up front, a part at launch, and a last part 90 days after launch that is due only if your website booked more than in the same 90 days last year. We go through the numbers on the call. The thirty business days count from the day we have API access to your account.11 Momence approves the integration first, which we confirm with you before we start.8
